Born in 1992, in Tehran, painter, and sculptor Sima Kahaki is an independent multidisciplinary artist who has worked in painting, sculpture, performance, and curatorial activities.

She graduated in industrial engineering in 2013 from Islamic Azad University, South Tehran branch. She studied under the established Iranian artist Alireza Asanloo (2010 – 2020) and worked for more than five years as his assistant, organizing several solo exhibitions, workshops, and performances. Her artistic career includes works in various mediums and has hosted several solo exhibitions and collaborated
in a number of collective exhibitions in Iran.

In 2022, she was invited by UNESCO to participate in “ArtCamp Baku” and in
2023 to participate in “ArtCamp Malta” and to hold collective exhibitions in Azerbaijan and Malta. Sima, who has been teaching drawing and painting since 2015, and is currently holding a solo exhibition of her new collection in Malta (November 2024)
